After taking (over) a year off from blogging, which was not intentional, I wasn't sure if I should even begin again. Do I try to catch up? Do I just add a bunch of pictures? Do I jump right in and act like I haven't been gone? So much has happened since my last post. Maybe not so much on the outside, but most certainly on the inside. It's been a difficult year. We were faced with many obstacles. Many were painful. But with pain comes growth. I definitely feel that I've grown. And for that, I am thankful. But I'm ready to move on. I do not feel like playing catch up. It occurred to me that maybe I should just start from scratch. Starting from scratch can be difficult, too. But it can also be good.
And so it is that I began this blog. I was surprised this name was available. But very glad. No matter what life throws at me, I am thankful for this life. I thank God for each morning that I wake up. It is such a gift. I am truly grateful. Life is... well, beautiful. :)
O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
